Five winners were crowned Saturday (September 8th) during the annual youth pageant held as part of the sixth annual Mohawk Valley Garlic and Herb Fesival in Little Falls. Participants from across the Mohawk Valley competed for top honors and royal court positions. The results are as follows:
Miss Garlic Festival - Kieren Sheridan, 19, of Fort Plain
Garlic Queen - Alexandria Mika, 16, of Little Falls
Alternate Queen - Jeena Cool, 14, of Stratford
Herb Princess - Marisa-Jean Fowler, 13, of Ilion
Alternate Princess - Destinee Monique Smith, 10, of Fultonville
Alternate Princess - Destiny Marie French, 11, of Ilion
Little Miss Clove - Mackenzie Kelsey, 8, of Herkimer
Alternate Little Miss - Kimberly Sargalis, 9, of Johnstown
Sweet Pea Sweetheart - Lillian Grace Lighthall, 3, of Fort Plain
Alternate Sweetheart - Candice Jane Sabatino, 5, of Little Falls
Named to the pageant's royal court were Tiffany Sargalis, Eliza Jones, Kaela Joyner, ShyAnne Bolen, Richelle Renee Reynolds, Brianna Parks, Carlianna Stafford and Melina Maine.
The pageant was emceed by director Laurie Jean Britton and featured a guest musical performance by Miss Mohawk Valley, Theresa Tokarowski. All proceeds from the pageant will benefit the Miss Mohawk Valley Scholarship Program.
